Greenbrier High's Student Council is an organization dedicated to providing the students of GHS the opportunity to grow and develop their leadership skills and abilities by organizing events for the school, community, and state. While planning events like Homecoming, Trick or Trunk, the Community-Wide Easter Egg Hunt, and Project CURE, members have a lot of fun and make lasting friendships.
Our organization meets twice a week, with committee meetings on Monday nights and formal meetings on Tuesday mornings. We are active members of the Tennessee Association of Student Councils (TASC), the Southern Association of Student Councils (SASC), and the National Association of Student Councils (NASC). We have traveled America with these organizations visiting such wonderful places as: Buffalo, NY; Las Vegas, NV; Houston, TX; New Orleans, LA; Virginia Beach, VA; Panama City, FL; and St. Louis, MO.
